Carley Schreoder grew up in a very small town Auburn, Michigan. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree from Central Michigan University. She has experience teaching all sorts of fitness classes and as a personal trainer. Carley is passionate about physical fitness, mental wellness, nutrition, and education. She enjoys hiking, biking, running, swimming, dancing, reading, yoga, traveling and meeting new people. Carley is thrilled to be a part of the CEV family to teach students in a fun and exciting way to make lifetime learners. She feels that the simulation rooms are designed to set the students up with real life situations to help the excell in an English speaking country.
Eric Schroeder grew up in the most exciting town in the world called Climax, Michigan. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and went to graduate school to acquire an MBA. He worked in Banking and Sales before meeting and marrying the love of his life, Carley. Eric is passionate about expanding the horizons for himself and others through the sharing and communicating of ideas. He believes English is a vital skill for those seeking to know more about and participate in world affairs. He enjoys hiking, reading, writing, playing sports and exploring new cultures!
William Aldridge is all the way from Johannesburg, South Africa. He studied business management at the University of Pretoria, where he acquired an undergraduate, as well as, an honors degree. Not willing to give up on pursuing an education background, he then went on to complete a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) at the University of Stellenbosch. William is an easy going person who enjoys meeting new people and experiencing new places. He loves sports and the outdoors, as well as, playing music and attending music concerts. He hopes to make an impression on all the learners he encounters through his positive understanding of each individual.
Madison Mickey is from Lincoln, Nebraska, located in the heart of the United States. She is twenty-two years old and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2017. Her bachelor’s degree is in Mathematics, and she has a minor in Accounting. Madison believes that broadening one’s horizons is the most important part of education, which is why she chose to teach in South Korea. She looks forward to helping Korean students learn English and show them that learning can be fun. In her free time, Madison enjoys hiking, playing board games, and exploring.
Jared Sanford is twenty-three years old, and hails from a small town in the middle of Nebraska called Minden. He attended university in America to get his Bachelors of Science in Education, and is now excited to share his love of teaching with the students of Korea. Jared knows that effective communication and relationship building are the keys to being successful in today’s world. He can’t wait to help his students excel in English. Jared loves music and exploring the outdoors.
Diane Yoder grew up outside the small town of Milton, Pennsylvania. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in teaching Secondary Education English from Bloomsburg University. She taught English to 7th and 9th grade students in Mount Carmel Area School District for eight years. During that time, she earned her Master’s Degree online through Wilkes University in Teaching and Learning in the 21st Century. When her husband, Levi Yoder, decided to go back to school to get his teaching degree, she taught in Central Valley School District for three years. They are thrilled to have the opportunity to share their experiences and grow at CEV.
Levi Yoder grew up in the town of Milton, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Triangle Tech with an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Maintenance and Construction. After working for many years in the field he and his wife decided that they wanted to expand their horizons and live abroad. Levi has tutored students in his free time for over 10 years, so it was an easy transition for him to go back to school and get finish his Bachelor’s in Middle Level Science Education. Levi, and his wife Diane, are excited that the CEV family has found them and invited them to join in teaching students how to love learning.
